Throckmorton Church Restoration
The 13th Century chapelry at Throckmorton has had extensive repair work done, the latest work was the replacement of the tower roof with new leadwork. The cost of this is in excess of £40,000, and thanks to our fund raising Officer Geraldine Green we can just about afford to pay for this work, but not without dipping in to our investments. We are only a small community and to and to raise this kind of money is a difficult job. Any help anyone can give would be appreciated, in the way of:
Donations, gifts, deed of covenant, sponsorship, support at fund raising events, or new fund raising ideas,
The inside of the church has now been completely redecorated and looks really splendid.
