The Throckmorton Summer Fete is on Sunday the 4th September 2011 starting with a pig roast at 1.0 pm. The Fete will be held at the parish room and the adjoining land behind the Hall.
Throckmorton Village Charity has at least two concerts in the Church every year, the photograph shows the grand piano kindly supplied by Vale Pianos in Throckmorton, being installed before one of the concerts .
Performances for 2011 are:
Saturday, 21st May at 7.30 pm The Strauss Quartet. Tickets £10
Sunday 17th July. Jonathon French (piano) and Amanda Lipman (violin) at 2.30 pm. Tickets £5 Children under 15 years free.
Sunday 4th September at 7.00 pm “Kings and Folk”
Sunday 6th November at 2.30 pm Astaria Quartet.
